Their system is based on their 30 years of experience of treatment of nuclear power plants cooling waters.

Some of the major advantages of the SunRui BalClor® system are the following:
- The side-stream electrolysis technology SunRui applies has the easiest system arrangement and least modification for retrofitting because only the filter need to be placed in main pipes. The other units are just connected with small pipes. This can save owners engineering and material costs.
- SunRui has a mature, reliable and safe core electrolysis technology derived from SunRui's land-based electrolysis system employed in nuclear and thermal power plants. Due to the use of side- stream technology, hydrogen can be safely collected and removed, as opposed to full-stream systems, where hydrogen is scattered and difficult to remove.
