Walvis Bay offers sheltered, deep water anchorage enhanced by temperate weather conditions, easy access by road and air, easy visa regime for visitors and good telecommunications, road and financial infrastructure. Walvis Bay offers a number of advantages over other Southern African ports, being considerably closer to the extensive West Coast oil fields for one as well as its competitive positioning and integral part of the Walvis Bay Corridor Group has made Walvis Bay the ideal port of entry to the leading trade route in southern Africa. Our overall critical success factors are political stability, stable workforce, capacity, capabilities, safety record and affordability.
